Andy Oskwarek is a music producer and consultant with over 10 years' experience working in original composition and synchronisation. During his time working in the music industry he has overseen numerous multi- award winning campaigns for brands such as BMW, Ford, Nike, Samsung, Sony PlayStation and Netflix; he has collaborated with some of the world's leading creative agencies, including Droga5, Wieden+Kennedy, BBH, DDB, Leo Burnett and Ogilvy.
Andy began his career working in independent record shops where he amassed a wealth of knowledge of music, film and TV, before joining Woodwork Music as a producer and synch licensing coordinator. He worked with a hugely talented roster of artists, record labels (Heavenly Recordings, Trunk Records, Glassnote, The Leaf Label, Melodic) and composers to create or licence music into global advertising campaigns, TV shows, films and trailers. He became Creative Director in 2018 and managed projects that won music awards at the Clio Awards, Ciclope, LIA, Kinsale Sharks, AMP Awards, Shots and the Music+Sound Awards.
During his time at Woodwork, Andy met composer Philip Kay, and the pair bonded over a shared love of 80s films and electronic music. They quickly developed a unique creative relationship, working on a broad range of projects together, and established KOM in 2020.
