Julian Samal is an Audio Lead at Riot Games, currently working on Riot’s global esports League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and unannounced projects leading the voice-over design initiative.
As a game developer with roots in jazz improvisation, he thrives on the excitement of transforming raw data and ideas into an immersive and rewarding audio experience.
Working as a developer on a wide range of projects, such as Sony’s God of War and many of League’s most popular music projects, including the virtual KPop group K/DA, and the in-game hip-hop collective True Damage, Julian has developed a deep passion for the inspiring possibilities provided by the disruptive impact and global reach of unconventional thinking applied to arts and technology.
When he’s not making or playing video games, Julian devotes his time to playing tenor sax, power-lifting, and binge-reading everything from Victorian literature to Japanese language textbooks.
